NetLibrary and AMACOM to Simultaneously Release eBooks and Print Copies of Popular Business Titles

Business Chat Series to Coincide with Book Releases

BOULDER, COLO.–Feb. 22, 2000–NetLibrary (www.NetLibrary.com), the world's premier provider of electronic books over the Internet, today announced its plans to release eBook versions of 14 AMACOM Books business titles at the same time print versions of the books arrive on bookstore shelves. The simultaneous eBook release series will continue through the spring of 2000.

The series with AMACOM Books, the publishing arm of the American Management Association, represents the largest simultaneous release of books in both formats in NetLibrary's history. The first book of this series to be released in print and eBook formats is The E-Commerce Question and Answer Book by Anita Rosen.

Several of the simultaneous releases will be spotlighted by a business chat series on the NetLibrary website. The 'Talking Business' series will feature prominent authors discussing their books and current business issues. Anita Rosen will kick off the series by discussing the opportunities and challenges presented by the evolving landscape of the e-commerce marketplace.

The E-Commerce Question and Answer Book will be featured on the NetLibrary website by the end of February. Anita Rosen's chat is scheduled for Tues., Feb. 29, 2000, at 9 p.m., EST. Peter Cohan, author of E-Profit: High Payoff Strategies for Capturing the E-Commerce Edge will be the featured author for a chat on Thurs., April 27, 9 p.m., EST.

"This simultaneous release and the Talking Business chat series bridges the literary gap between the offline and online worlds," said AMACOM Director of Publicity Irene Majuk. "NetLibrary delivers a potential new readership to our authors and puts great books at people's fingertips."
