OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS JOINS NETLIBRARY TO OFFER eBOOK TITLES ON THE INTERNET
BOULDER, COLO.-1 DECEMBER 1999-NetLibrary™ (www.NetLibrary.com), the world's premier
eBook provider, today announced an agreement with Oxford University Press to offer a
selection of the publisher's books digitally over the Internet.
Under the agreement, NetLibrary will use its proprietary technologies to
create and manage eBook versions of Oxford University Press academic and
reference titles. The eBooks will be made available directly to libraries
and their patrons over the Internet.

NetLibrary will provide select Oxford University Press content to libraries and their

seven days a week via the Internet. NetLibrary broadens the scope and functionality
of traditional libraries. By expanding library services to the online community,
NetLibrary offers a information resources to patrons of its customer libraries,
including anytime/anywhere access to electronic information, advanced search capabilities,
and the ability to highlight, bookmark, index, and annotate eBook content.
