From the smallest rural library to the largest ARL, NetLibrary has something for everyone. Premier content, several formats, multiple access and order methods, and usage statistics at your fingertips that all add up to demonstrated value for your investment.
Success stories abound for libraries who’ve delivered full-text, full-image eContent to their users, where and when they are. Here are a few we’ve heard first-hand:
Academic libraries.
NetLibrary serves nine universities and six medical institutions in the UT system. The ability to make title-by-title selections through TitleDirect best served this academic consortium’s needs.
Consortia, including school libraries.
Patron-Driven Acquisition (PDA) model lets users decide which NetLibrary eBook titles are purchased for the shared collection of 3,000 libraries.
Multi-type library group, including public libraries.
Indianapolis-area libraries let users help decide which eBook titles to acquire. Through the Patron-Driven Acquisition (PDA) model program, they can provide exposure to a large collection without spending money they don’t have.
Academic Research (ARL) library
eBooks are a natural part of OU’s electronic resource collection, especially as they support remote students around the state and around the world in military programs. Local press eBooks are often held in special collections—and get a lot more traffic in electronic form than the physical printed versions.
Downloadable Audiobooks. Libraries of all types and sizes, from Maine to California, are now offering Downloadable Audiobooks from NetLibrary and Recorded Books, making it possible for library users on the go to download and listen to current best-selling audiobooks from a variety of portable listening devices.
