How is NetLibrary different from other Electronic Content Companies?
The NetLibrary model was designed specifically around the business needs of publishers. We
have worked closely with publishers from the very beginning to develop a system that allows
them to expand into digital publishing with low risk and greater potential for new revenues.
Our publishers maintain control over their content at all times. For example, you can review
and approve all content before it is distributed, and you set the list prices for your eBooks.

How are eBooks produced?
NetLibrary works with the OeB standard. Publishers can submit OeB files that are ready to
load directly to our site or NetLibrary can manage the conversation process starting with
titles from a publisher in electronic or print format. The electronic file or print book is
then converted. Non-text pictures, diagrams, and illustrations are then integrated into the
converted document. Each eBook emulates its print counterpart, maintaining the books
copyright and making viewing familiar and easy.

Can I use my eBook files elsewhere?
Yes. NetLibrary is a member of the Open eBook Forum (OeBF) and supports the Open eBook Standard. OeB files created
for the NetLibrary site are reusable for other browser-based applications. Furthermore, those OeB files are readily
modified to take advantage of other eBook formats and distribution channels. This standard specification allows you
to reach a large audience without starting from scratch to create new versions of your titles for each new electronic
opportunity.
